I live on a 55-acre horse farm outside Chicago — renting a quiet, scruffy farmhouse and slowly making it mine. Most mornings you'll find me running through hay fields with Hildy, my teacup wolf, or chasing some new idea down a rabbit hole. I love the flex of city and country: friends downtown, nature at home.

Professionally, I do contract UX, visual design, and film production work through my studio, Odd Commodity. Movies and visual storytelling are a genuine obsession, and I'm happiest when I'm creating — designing, illustrating, mentoring, building something that didn't exist before. Design systems are my foundation, and that systems thinking has a way of sneaking into everything else I do.
