Everything You Need to Run Your Business in One Place. Contractor Tools Meet Construction Finance Automation
MX Build streamlines financial management for general contractors, and we were excited to produce an introductory video for Smartpay, one of their flagship products. Tonally, they wanted to embody both trustworthiness, expertise, and elegant simplicity.
Using a combination of live action footage, still photography, and branded motion design, we walk newcomers through the many inefficiencies that burden contractors, and how effectively MX Build addresses them with Smartpay.
My role was to translate their band guidelines and product screen captures into a cohesive avatar UI that would generalize user actions, clearly show the feature, and look neat.
To prevent the UI from quickly becoming outdated, we distilled user flows into core actions and simplified components, focusing on clarity and longevity.
